Noel, a Coast Salish artist from the Snuneymuxw and Kwakwaka'wakw communities, began carving in 1995. Residing in Nanaimo, Noel refined his skills under the guidance of renowned artists and his grandmother from Cape Mudge. His Coast Salish art, celebrated for bold, clean lines, is coveted worldwide. His totem poles, prominently displayed at the Nanaimo BC Museum and other public spaces, reflect his profound cultural roots.
