Puntletz 

Named Kwa’kwaxolas at a potlatch in September 2024, Jessie Everson has been studying the art form of his Kwakwaka̱’wakw, Puntletz and Ahousaht ancestors since he was a teen. He holds the role of song keeper and grizzly bear dancer for the Gigal’ga̱m ‘Walas Kwaguł (Kwaguł) and is a hoylikala dancer for the T̓sit̓sa̱lxalaga̱me’ (‘Namgis).
