Vancouver Island-based muralist and oil painter Valerie Strom creates art inspired by her love of people, the human experience, and her Mexican culture. A self-taught artist, she began painting in 2019 and quickly fell in love with oil paint. Valerie has painted murals in Canada and Mexico, and her work is collected worldwide. Her art blends realism with magical elements, evoking deep emotion. Valerie’s Mexican roots heavily influence her vibrant, colorful pieces, filled with movement and cultural significance
