In the rich cultural traditions of many Vancouver Island Indigenous Nations, it is believed that when you spot an orca offshore, it is a lost loved one or a revered chief reaching out to communicate from the spirit world. This profound belief evokes a sense of connection and continuity, bridging the gap between the past and present, the living and the departed. The orca, or killer whale, symbolizes power, unity, and protection, embodying the strength and bonds of family and community.

Minimum 1" x 1" lumber or metal recommended

Sandwich method recommended for a secure fit

Groove or dado systems can work when the panel fits very snugly with minimal movement

Avoid loose-fitting channels that allow the panel to shake or rattle over time

ACM can be framed in any style or installed without full framing
Shipping Recommendation
For 3' x 6' panels and larger, ACM or HDPE are recommended for shipped orders due to their durability in transit.
Production Time
Each screen is crafted to order on Vancouver Island and is not mass produced.
Please allow 1–2 weeks for production before shipping.
Production spots fill quickly, especially during peak season.
