Features: Made from recycled materials, UV-resistant, moisture-resistant, and easy to install

ACM (5mm | 0.2") – Sleek & Architectural
Best for: Modern projects, high-wind areas, and delicate designs
Features: A durable composite with a solid plastic core bonded between two sheets of aluminum. Offers rust resistance and a clean, refined finish.
Max Size: 4’ x 6’
Colours: Black
HDPE (6.35mm | 0.25") – Impact-Resistant & Heavy-Duty
Best for: Public spaces, commercial installations, playgrounds, parks, and high-impact environments
Features: Simona® HDPE Boatboard UV - marine-grade, UV-stable, and built to withstand heavy use and harsh elements
Max Size: 4.5’ x 8’
Colours: Black, White
Shipping Recommendation
For large panels or delicate designs requiring long-distance shipping (all screens are made and shipped from Vancouver Island, BC), we recommend choosing ACM or HDPE. These materials offer the highest impact resistance and durability, making them ideal for extended transit and handling.

Installation & Framing
For outdoor use, PVC and HDPE screens must be framed on all four sides to maintain structural integrity - especially in areas with high winds or extreme heat.
Installation Notes:

Avoid dado (groove) framing for PVC – it may compromise the panel over time if in High wind areas
-
ACM and HDPE are compatible with both dado and sandwich techniques.
-
ACM is the only material that can be installed without framing (depending on application).
For PVC, we recommend the Simple Sandwich Technique:

Frame with: 1” x 1” to 1” x 4” wood or metal
-
Fasten with: Ceramic-coated or non-corrosive screws, driven completely through the frame–panel–frame sandwich

Note: No allowance is needed for expansion or contraction
