Design: Solar Mist
Artist: Brent Smith
Experience the life-giving abundance of the sun with "Solar Mist," a captivating privacy screen by Kwakwak'wakw artist Brent Smith from Cape Mudge. This design symbolizes the warmth, healing, and peace radiated by the sun, embraced by clouds. According to legend, the Raven freed the sun from its confining box and returned it to the earth, where it has since provided all humankind with warmth, light, and life. Ancient beliefs held that one could reach the sun by climbing a chain of arrows and descend by sliding down its rays. "Solar Mist" brings this mythical narrative to life, adding a touch of celestial wonder and tranquility to any space.
